(American College Test)

American college test is administered by ACT, Inc. It is a paper and pencil based multiple choice test. This test checks the readiness of college or intermediate level student's about different subjects. ACT is considered as the Key step to taking admission in any college or university. This text sets a standard for all students intelligence. The students can avail their admission by having good score in ACT and college exams. The total marks of the test are 36 while 21 are considered as average marks. ACT is not offered by the national institutes all over the year but instead it has their specific timings.

The name suggests that it is an American college test accepted only in America. It is not the case, ACT is valid in countries like Canada, Australia and United Kingdom. besides that, the test is accepted in different territories of United States like Puerto Rico etc. The test is conduct all over the year on seven different occasions. ACT Format

American college test is one of the most popular test among Americans. The test consumes about 2 hours 50 minutes to 3 hours 40 minutes. The test consists of subjects areas like English, Mathematics, Reading, Writing and Science subjects. In these subjects writing is optional and the time of the test varies according to writing section. When writing is selected in the test so the time is 3 hours and 35 minutes while without writing section the test time is 2 hours and 55 minutes. All these subjects areas are considered important in the test. The test sections are explained briefly with number of questions and time limit.
