Six Weeks to Our Free SAT Math Webinar: A Simple Practice Plan
Our free SAT Math webinar is on Thursday, December 3, 2026. That leaves about six weeks to get ready. You do not need a prep book or a paid class to use that time well. Here is a simple plan any High Desert student can follow, about 30 minutes a day.
Weeks 1 and 2: Find your starting point
Take one free official practice test in the Bluebook app from College Board, math section only.
Write down every question you missed or guessed on. That list is your study plan.
Sort the misses into four groups: algebra, advanced math, problem solving and data, and geometry and trigonometry.
Weeks 3 and 4: Fix the biggest gap first
Pick the group with the most misses and practice only that topic for two weeks.
Use Khan Academy's free Official Digital SAT Prep lessons for that skill.
Redo your missed questions without looking at the answer. If you can explain each step out loud, you have learned it.
Weeks 5 and 6: Practice under real conditions
Take a second full math section with a timer.
Learn to use the built-in Desmos graphing calculator. It can solve many algebra questions in seconds.
Write down two or three questions you still find hard and bring them to the webinar.
Then join us on December 3
At the free webinar we will walk through common SAT Math question types, show time-saving strategies, and answer student questions. We also award five free SAT math scholarships per workshop, first-come, for qualifying low-income students, offered as funding allows. Families can ask about our free college admissions advising, too.
To register, send your student's name, grade and school to tmalik@mathnonprofittutoring.org or through our contact page at mathnonprofittutoring.org/contact. You can also call (760) 885-1154. We will email you the time and link.
